Stitching a Second Act

Mark Spikberg turned his passion for quilting into Spikberg Quilting, a thriving side hustle in Tecumseh. After discovering his love for the craft in a church class, Mark began creating custom quilts, blending precision and creativity to deliver unique designs.

With a small business loan from Michigan Women Forward, Mark launched a website, opened an Etsy shop, and expanded his reach nationwide—stitching over 200 quilts in his first year.
