Kimle Nailer
Kimle Nailer is the president and owner of Nail-Rite Construction Company, providing residential services in Detroit. Nailer is a licensed builder and expanded her construction company into commercial contracting in 2017 to capitalize on Detroit’s Downtown Revitalization. Iconic projects include partnerships with Turner Brooks on the Little Caesar’s Arena and with The Brinker Team to build the Piston’s Training Center. She holds a business degree from Wayne State University and successfully built a 20-year career as a Senior Business Analyst before transitioning into construction.
In addition to serving as a board member with Michigan Women’s Forward, and chairing the CDFI Advisory Committee, Nailer currently serves as a Planning Commissioner with the City of Eastpointe.
In her spare time, she is a community advocate and loves mentoring the youth, so they are prepared with life skills. She also supports work force development initiatives and inspires Black Women to pursue careers in construction, an industry that supports economic empowerment of Black communities. Nailer has been celebrated as a community leader in the Who’s Who in Black Detroit Fourth Edition and was named one of Crain’s Detroit Notable Women in Construction, Architecture and Design.
