Britta Brown
Britta Brown is a sports operations and events leader with more than 12 years of experience across the NBA and Division I athletics. She is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Britta Brown Consulting, where she supports sports and sports-adjacent organizations through operational strategy, leadership support, and experience design. She also brings her perspective and lived experience into rooms as a sought-after speaker, sharing insights on women’s leadership, sports business, and translating lessons from athletics into professional success.
Her leadership and impact have been recognized nationally and locally. She was inducted into the Garrison Forest School Hall of Excellence and highlighted in UNC Athletics’ Black History Month Spotlight in 2025. In 2024, she was named a Michigan Chronicle Woman of Excellence and a Michigan Women Forward “Woman to Watch.” Britta has served on the Board of Advisors for The Rams Club, was the inaugural Co-Chair of the Detroit Pistons’ Women’s Resource Group, and is an alumna of the McKinsey Black Executive Leadership Program.
A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Britta was also a women’s lacrosse student-athlete. She resides in Detroit with her husband, Franklin, and enjoys traveling, RVing, and the outdoors.
