Office Manager (Detroit)

STATUS: Part-time (20-24 hours/week), Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Detroit (Remote option based on CEO schedule)
REPORTS TO: President & Chief Executive Officer

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Office Manager provides administrative support to the President & CEO, managing calendars, scheduling, correspondence, liaison work with the Board, portal management for grants and reporting, and special projects that enable leadership to focus on strategic priorities and mission advancement. Provide ad hoc administrative support to the CFO.

This role requires strong organizational skills, absolute discretion with confidential information, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. This position is also responsible for the ongoing office management, including: ordering supplies and managing conference room schedules.

Salary range: $28-30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS:

The position requires regular presence in the Detroit office for direct coordination with the President & CEO and CFO. Some flexibility for remote work on administrative and data entry tasks may be available depending on operational needs. The role may occasionally require early mornings, late afternoons, or weekend hours to support board activities, strategic initiatives, or special events.

This position involves frequent interaction with staff, donors, vendors, and external partners, requiring professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. The role may require lifting office supplies and materials (up to 25 lbs.) and extended periods at a computer workstation.
