Financing for Ignite Detroit graduates

You’ve put in the work. You’ve completed the Ignite Detroit program. Now it’s time to take your business to the next level.

The MWF Ignite Detroit Contractor Microloan is available exclusively to eligible Ignite Detroit graduates who are ready to take on larger projects, invest in equipment, hire employees, or manage cash flow between contracts.

Designed specifically for contractors, this affordable financing helps you grow your business—and rewards your success. Eligible borrowers who make on-time payments and meet program requirements may have the final portion of their loan repaid by MWF.

Loan Highlights

✔️ Up to $20,000 in financing

✔️ Flexible repayment terms of 2 or 3 years

✔️ Interest-only payments for the first 3 months

✔️ Eligible borrowers who successfully complete loan requirements may have the final portion of their loan repaid by MWF. (For 2-year loans, the final six months of principal and interest will be forgiven. For 3-year loans, the final 12 months of principal and interest will be forgiven.)

✔️ One-on-one support from our experienced lending team

Who Can Apply

This loan is available to eligible contractors who:

✔️ Graduated from the Ignite Detroit program

✔️ Have been in business for a minimum of 2 years

✔️ Are licensed and insured

✔️ Have active contracts or a strong pipeline of upcoming work
