As President of the Frey Foundation, Holly oversees a program that awards roughly $6 million annually. Before joining Team Frey, Holly served as President of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation. Her leadership journey started at Heart of West Michigan United Way (then Greater Ottawa County United Way).
Holly serves on the boards of Grand Rapids Promise Zone, Grand Valley State University Foundation, and Lakeshore Advantage. She’s also a member of the Corewell Health Finance oversite Committee, Housing Next regional advisory council, and the Kent County 2050 Steering Committee.
Since 2019, she has landed on Crain’s “50 Most Influential Women” and “200 Most Influential Leaders in West Michigan” lists — a testament to her reputation within the communities she’s impacted.
Holly holds an MPA with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership from Grand Valley State University and a BA from Hillsdale College. She is also certified in Next Generation Philanthropy through 21/64. She and her husband reside in downtown Grand Rapids.
