Honorary Board Member

Terry Merritt is a former Sr. Vice President/Board member at Walbridge after serving the company for 38 years. She continues to support numerous programs that improve the lives of women.

As an active member in the community, she has been awarded Crain’s Detroit Business Most Influential Women; Corp Magazine 95 Most Powerful Women; the Athena Award from the Oakland County Chamber; Inforum’s Inner Circle Women of Achievement Honoree and the State of Michigan Dept. of Civil Rights, Michigan’s Women’s Commission.  

She is a graduate of Leadership Detroit and has served as a Sunday School teacher for several years. She is also active on the following nonprofit boards: Michigan Women Forward past chair and current honorary Board Member, Haven past chair and current second VP and Board Member, Inforum past chair and current honorary Board Member, National 4word Advisory Board Member, Exec. Women for Christ-North Leader 4word-Detroit member, and member of International Women’s Forum.
