HorseLinc: Innovation Born in the Barn

For horse owner and nationally ranked jumper Misty Pleiness, managing care used to mean juggling texts, paper invoices, and endless Monday catch-up. So she built HorseLinc — a first-of-its-kind app that lets service providers schedule, invoice, and get paid, while owners track everything in one place.

With support from a Michigan Women Forward microloan, Misty upgraded her platform and kept growing through the uncertainty of 2020.

“MWF believed in me — and gave me breathing room when I really needed it,” she says.
