Laura is Michigan Women Forward’s Executive Director of West Michigan. Her duties include developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies and fostering strong relationships with donors, partners and the community.

Her previous roles included Senior Development Director at YWCA West Central Michigan and Senior Development Director at Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley in Ann Arbor. She also served as Director of Corporate Development at Make-A-Wish Michigan, where she built lasting corporate partnerships and managed successful fundraising initiatives.

­­Laura has a bachelor’s degree in applied arts from Central Michigan University. In March 2024, she received her CFRE certification. She has been a volunteer with Make-A-Wish since 2013 and is a member on the ATHENA Action Committee.

When she’s not working to make a difference, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve. They often travel, relax on the water or binge-watch Netflix while cuddling with their cat, Ginger.
