Join Michigan Women Forward for a free training series.

Michigan Women Forward’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation are seeking applicants to attend a free training program in which participating Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers will receive financial tools adapted for their industry. After completion of the training, each entrepreneur will meet with a bookkeeper and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to start the three-to-five-month process of organizing their financials.

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants’ business must be located in one of seven Grand Rapids neighborhoods: Baxter, Black Hills, Garfield Park, Ottawa Hills, Roosevelt Park, Southeast Community, or West Grand (zip codes 49503, 49506, 49507 and 49534).

Deadline to Apply: Friday, February 24 at Noon (spots are limited)

  • Income
  • Expenses*
  • General Business Practices

*Unique to in-home childcare including shared expenses, standard meal allowance, and time/space percentage
