Joan Budden Retirement Gift
Home / Joan Budden Retirement Gift

Shh! We’re honoring Joan Budden’s retirement from Priority Health and we need your help.

Joan Budden has been an ardent supporter and champion for Michigan Women Forward for decades, and we are excited to celebrate her retirement from Priority Health by honoring her dedication to supporting the next generation of women leaders throughout the state of Michigan.

Please consider making a gift in Joan’s honor to Michigan Women Forward’s UGOGirlsforChange program, which teaches high school girls to be decision makers, team players, and empowered women. Your support will not only celebrate Joan; it will make a lasting impact on girls who are preparing to be the next generation of leaders and change-makers in our state, region, country or even around the world! We will be naming at least one of the West Michigan chapters of this extraordinary group of young leaders in her name.

About the UGoGirls for Change Program:

Donations to celebrate Joan’s retirement directly benefit high school girls in Michigan who participate in MWF’s UGoGirls for Change program. In this program, high school girls work in teams to identify areas of improvement for women in their own community. They learn about the issues, brainstorm with one another and find creative solutions for those problems.

Through our UGOGirlsforChange programs, girls discover causes they’re passionate about. Many have even carried that passion with them as they enter college and career. We love to see our girls take a stand for local issues and become part of the solution even after our program ends.

UGOGirlsforChange teaches girls to be decision makers, team players, empowered women and (perhaps most importantly) leaders.
