Basics of Building a Business

The road to starting a business and obtaining financing can be winding, even unmarked, and the Michigan Small Business Development Center and Michigan Women Forward have teamed up to bring you this free series on starting a business. Together we are offering this training series to get your business started, your plan written, and your financials ready so you are prepared for future funding opportunities.
Learn the basics at three workshops:
All workshops will take place from 10am – 12pm in Conference Room 408, MOC Building, 100 McMorran Blvd., 4th Floor, Port Huron, MI 48060
- March 15 – How to Start a Business: This training session will help you learn everything you need to know on how to get your business up and running. Click here to register.
- April 5 – Writing a Business Plan: This session will demystify the business plan by breaking it down, creating a template and a draft to easily get started. Click here to register.
- April 19 – Finances & Projections: In this training session we will explain a simple and practical way that you can track revenue and expenses with confidence! Please keep in mind for this session entrepreneurs need a written business plan. Click here to register.
