Dear entrepreneur, It seems that we can finally welcome spring and the warmer weather that comes with it! While welcoming April means Women’s History Month has officially ended, MWF is still here celebrating and supporting women both past and present. We already know women and entrepreneurs of color face significant obstacles in the workforce and to accessing funding for their businesses. The pandemic has exacerbated these challenges. Now, reports that venture capital funding (already below 3% in terms of investment for women-owned businesses) dropped in 2020. Despite these unfortunate findings, we hope you will join us in embracing a new season of challenging barriers. As always, MWF is committed to supporting women and entrepreneurs of color throughout this pandemic and beyond. You can check out all of the resources below from us here at MWF and our partners across the state. And as always, we are just an email (microloan@miwf.org) or phone call (313-962-1920) away for a microloan or information about our other programs.
